The permanently locked, hardened 1/2? square drive gives way to impacts and cannot be damaged when the ratchet is used as a hammer
Allowing a torque transfer of at least 600Nm, the 8002 ratchet has a double pawl mechanism and return angle of only to allow it to be used accurately even in cramped working conditions
Sockets and accessories can easily be attached to the head and are held in place by a ball lock
It is easy and quick to change the direction of the ratchet through the push-through square drive, which is far more robust than a conventional forward & reverse switch
A removable retaining ring provides quick access to the ratchet mechanism for easy cleaning or greasing
The hammer head is drop-forged and is pinned to the shaft in a form-fit joint for high strength
The striking face itself is dry-fined and comes with a rubber pad that can be attached as needed to protect materials and surfaces while being struck
The ergonomically designed multi-component Kraftform handle ensures optimum pressure, impact and tensile loads and is specially designed to improve comfort and performance. Impact vibrations through the handle are minimised by a tubular shaft while the ratchet is being used as a hammer. The handle is also designed for the connection of the Koloss extension 8780 C and Koloss centring pin 8781 C
